Bradbury Wilkinson Specimens

The Central Bank of Ceylon (CBSL) issued in for circulation, Currency Notes in a series that started in 1981 on theme Historical and Archaeology of Sri Lanka. Printed by Bradbury Wilkinson & Co Ld, New Malden, Surrey, England Name of Printer not mentioned on 1981-01-01 date, and is mentioned as Bradbury Wilkinson without UK address from 1982-01-01 date on this series of Currency Notes.
The Bradbury Wilkinson Plant in Biyagama, Sri Lanka was established in 1984 and some or all of the 1985-01-01 dated notes may have been printed there.

Red SPECIMEN stamped in a diagonal upwards in front and downwards on back.

A 3 digit specimen control number is stamped on the back lower left edge in black as NNN
Normally a bundle of 100 are printed for distribution to local Banks.

The high denomination 1981 notes have a Double punch hole in the middle space used for the signatures and date which have been printed with the two 000000 serial number on lower left and upper right.
The lower denomination notes have a Single punch hole in the middle space used for the signatures and date which with the Serial number has not been printed on the Rs50 and Rs10 that I found online.

The back of the Rs100, Rs20 and Rs5 are from Specimns which did not have signature date or Serial and had one hole punched like the Rs 5.
