During WWII the Ceylon Board of Commissioners of Currency issued
notes with a fraction of a Rupee to overcome shortage of metal.
Three with portrait of King George VI of 50. 25 and 10 cents were printed
at Currency Note Press (CNP) at Nashik, India.
