A Fantasy note printed for the Inauguration of new Parliament of Sri Lanka building in Diyawannawe, Kotte. The fantasy note is printed in dark green on yellow unwatermarked paper has the layout and design of the Rs 100 note of 1979 Flora and Fauna series.

One Bird (Ceylon Grackle) on right facing left on Branch of Tree. At center Talipot Palm. Sri Lanka State Assembly Commemoration on top center. Repeated in Portrait format on left below which in four lines of Sinhala text Not a currency note issued on behalf of Sri Lanka Government. This cannot be used for and Money transaction within Sri Lanka Signed in Sinhala H. A. S. Perera, Publisher. Below translated to Tamil and English SOUVENIR OF NEW SRI LANKA PARLIMENT(sic) in smaller text. 000 in three corners. Upper and lower right. A pair of serial numbers in upper right and lower left written as 4/29 1982 which is the date of inaugaration.

The note design has been neatly drawn by hand with the layout and design of the Rs 100 note of 1979 Flora and Fauna series. Printed 3% wider and 4% higher by two color 100 dpi block printing.

Fantasy note has been scanned at 300 dpi amd displayed at 75 dpi

The fantasy note with 7 others was sold as a group by Fred Medis on SLNS meeting auction in 2017 February.
