Sri Lanka - Fantasy note
A Fantasy note printed for the Inauguration of J. R. Jayawardene as
president of Sri Lanka. A satirical note issued by supporters of the
United National Party which replaced the Sri Lanka Freedom Party in
elections 1977 July with a 5/6 majority.
The fantasy note is printed in maroon on unwatermarked paper has the
layout and design of the controversial SLFP Banda Hand raised Rs100
currency note of 1970.

The note design has been neatly drawn by hand with the format and
colours of the 1970 Banda Hand raised Rs 100 currency note.
Printed 2% wider and 6% higher by single color 100 dpi block printing.

Fantasy note has been scanned at 300 dpi amd displayed at 75 dpi
The fantasy note with 7 others was sold as a group by Fred Medis on
SLNS meeting auction in 2017 February.
