The notes dated 1989-02-21 had 2 orders. The First for all the
Denominations except Rs 100 and had a thin Signature for Karunatilake,
and the Second for Denominations Rs 10, Rs 50 and Rs 100. with a
normal Signature with a dot after (DKS). This Rs 10 and the Rs 50
have both varieties of Signature for the date 1989-02-21.
The range of Serial numbers is for the two orders as given in a listing
I obtained from CBSL, and identified First with thin signature and second
with thick. However I have a thin signature note with seriel F/98 so the
change probably happened midway in second order, guessed now as F/104 based
on a F/103 note without Dot and a F/104 with dot shown on right.
I thank Oleg Pozdnyak of Russia for this correction with images as evidence.
The note was scanned at 300 dpi and displayed at 50 dpi.
