WaterMark : On the higher denominations (50, 100, 1000 lbs) the words RUBBER RESTRICTION in two lines in middle with words CEYLON above and GOVERNMENT below in two arcs forming an ellipse, using an outline Font lighter than background. The logo is 4 inches wide and 2 inches high and oriented to the right. The logo is repeated every 4 inches giving a 2 inch gap, and is seen twice on larger notes. But as the logos are not centered on coupon, parts of it may have got clipped out by edge of the coupon. .
Perforations are seen on the top edge on the higher denominations (50, 100, 1000 lbs) indicating these coupons were issued in booklets.
