The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) issued in for circulation, a 100 Rupee Currency Note in a series of Notes called Sri Lanka Historical and Development.

Within a decorative border and center, Numeric 100 at all four corners. At upper center the value රුපියල් සියයයි in Sinhala. நூறு ரூபாய் in Thamil, and ONE HUNDRED RUPEES in English, at bottom center.
In Top center in Sinhala, ශ්‍රී ලංකා මහ බැංකුව, இலங்கை மத்திய வங்கி in Thamil and Central Bank of Sri Lanka in English in next two lines with decreasing font size.
